the problem is not the health care sustem, the problems are that the insuranse companies need to be regulated and we got to stop frivolous lawsuits, but I agree with you HR3200 is gonna kill tha nation.

Could someone please explain what’s wrong with this reform plan? I’ve always heard that the USA health care system is the worst in the 1st world. Because so many people can’t afford insurance and even die because they can’t pay for health care (more than in any other 1st world country), while insurance companies get very rich. I’ve never met a European who’d be willing to trade their health care system for the American one. How come Americans still don’t want reform? Please help me understand..?

Universal health care is the super gold medal for Democrats. It’s the equivalent of the fair tax for conservatives. Do you really think that if Republicans held the presidency and complete control of Congress that public opinion would stop them from instituting the fair tax? Fat chance. I predict that Obama will be inking this bill by Thanksgiving.

No. Protests are for hippies looking for an excuse not to go to work. I won’t hear any of it. I’ll be too busy working. Protesting and petitions does no good. It never has, and it never will. Personally, I think that the town hall people are fine. Protests are silly though. The majority spoke when they elected Obama. He wasn’t necessarily keeping his health care reform ideas a secret.

mr oblama has been in office a little under 250 days. In that time he has accomplished this for the American Workers:
1) 787 Billion Dollar, Pork Barrel Filled, Stimulus Package – LOAN
2) 3.6 Trillion Dollar, of Failed Socialist Programs Budget – LOAN
3) 1.5 Trillion Dollar, Government Run, Health Care Proposal – LOAN
This comes to a total of 5.89 Trillion Dollars LOAN.
However, the worse part of that is the interest on these LOANS will be in excess of 175 Billion Dollars per year

The government can’t even take care of Social security and now they want to make every decision on health care. Earlier this week, the Social Security Administration announced it plans to cancel annual cost-of-living adjustments for the next two years. American taxpayers are going to be bailing out social security in the next couple years. This is SICK how the government is trying to take over every facet of American life. NO to obamacare. Hopefully American patriotism will stop this socialism.

No surprise that California, one of the richest but most liberal state, especially in fiscal term, is on the edge of bankruptcy. Now Californian socialist model with its highest tax rate, strictest enviromental protection rules, and very generous welfare and healthcare systems is copied by Obama administration with its ambitious, costly health care reform of one trillion dollars for everybody including 12 milliions illegal immigrants who would be naturalized under Obama immigration reform.
